Sunday: 9am to 4pm. With tea and lunch break

A weekend retreat, led by Buddhist monk and author Gelong Thubten, focusing on some of the key themes from his second book, the bestseller ‘Handbook for Hard Times’. Thubten will explain some of the Buddhist methods for deepening our compassion and working with challenging situations, emotions and relationships. There will be a special emphasis on the practice of forgiveness.

A great opportunity for a weekend retreat of learning and practice. For those traveling from afar, reasonably priced accommodation is available at the nearby hotels, within easy walking distance across the park in front of the meditation centre.

Suggested donation £50 (all funds will go to charity) per day, although nobody will be excluded due to lack of funds.
